4 months old (for 2 weeks already...)

Oraiya is 4 months old! And has been for about two weeks already... Geez how time flies by! She can shriek like a pterodactyl and can roll over repeatedly (but only to the right...)

3 Months old!

She's so big already! Oraiya is now three months old, and weighs almost eleven pounds. She can also:

• See mommy from across the room
• Laugh! We've heard her first wonderful giggle shriek as Devlin played with her
• Grab toys (with effort) and bring them to her mouth

She's already becoming a sweet and wonderful little girl. She loves to watch and observe, and she has a great focused expression.

Two months old!

Oraiya is already two months old! How time flies. We are treasuring her baby cuddles; she is getting bigger so fast. Here are some photo highlights from the last month!

One month milestone!

Oraiya is officially a month old! What an amazing month it's been. She now smiles, is starting to hold up her head, can stick out her tongue, and she can roar like a little lion when she wants something. Cheers to our little love bug, happy one month!

Three weeks old!

Oraiya Ember Gray!

We have a name! Oraiya Ember Gray is our little girl's name. 😄 Oraiya is pronounced "oh-rye-ah."

Oraiya means "woven night" in Japanese, and Ember is because she is a fire rooster in the Chinese zodiac.

The wait is finally over! 😊

Kitty and Baby

When baby occupies mom's lap all the time, Kitty will find whatever spot she can to get attention. Note that Kitty is sitting on a rocking stool, a pretty precarious spot ordinarily and one she would not usually choose. 😄

Baby is here!

Baby updates! We are all home from the hospital and doing well. Baby is sleeping well, and very alert.

She was born via c section on Tuesday night, due to being Frank breech and low amniotic fluid. No avoiding it, but I'm recovering well, and baby is very healthy and strong. Weight 7 lbs 13 ounces, 21" long. Blue green eyes right now, and almost smiling! 😊
